About the Event
These sessions equip the trainee to create a Wellness Recovery Action Plan for themself or someone else. The goal is to be able to create a plan of what must be done to keep someone well; staying on track mentally and physically. This is a widely used therapeutic technique with an array of applications. This training is for anyone who works with those in crisis, or has family members with mental health struggles, or is otherwise an ally to those surviving through adversity. Free for residents of Kansas and Denver, Colorado. Other scholarship options are also available. The course ends in certification.
If you believe you may qualify for one of our scholarship options, please fill out the scholarship form instead.
Scholarships are generally awarded to artists, advocates, educators, healthcare workers, community members, and community leaders who demonstrate financial need and are within our areas of service (Kansas and Denver in 2022).
